Hab neulich bei uns aufm Firmenparkplatz ein paar Acros MP3 abgelichtet. Die Fahrzeuge sind allesamt für den Export (Asiatischer Markt) bestimmt. Sind ein paar Interessante Fzg mit dabei...:

Welchem Zweck dienen diese "Alibi"-kotflügel? Nur damit sie beim Fahren keinen Dreck hochwirbeln lassen?

Das sind nur prov. Überführungskotflügel. Sie werden nach der Endmontage in Wörth bei MB angebracht.

PS: Wenn man genau drauf achtet,erkennt man,das fast ausschliesslich Reifen von Kumho montiert sind... Hat also alles Methode bzw. seinen sinn.

Du hast völlig recht, mit den Kotflügeln Peter.
Weil man darf in Deutschland nicht ohne Kotflügel bzw. ohne diese Jalousie die man über das Rad zieht nicht fahren.

Ich meinte mit Jalousie, das Teil was man über den Reifen zieht, zwischen den Kotflügelhälften.

Versuche für einen Nachbau ein MP3-FHS zu ergattern. BAM soll es Herstellen, stand in einer Modellzeitschrift. Hat das FHS aber noch nicht im Programm. Also weiter warten.
